She Hulk

sdalcin

I don't think many people enjoyed this series, but we as a family did. We especially liked that She Hulk was so good at controlling when she turned green because she is a woman and as such has pretty much been angry her whole life, so she has gotten good at controlling her emotions. We definitely have different levels of She Hulkery in our household.

So just like the Hulk, She Hulk turns big, green and likes to smash! So everything for our main dish was based off the criteria for Smashing! We had Smashed potatoe fries, where we literally smashed them down and baked them in the oven. We also had Smashburgers, which were patty melts essentially. We got brioche bread, made some grilled onions and added some burger sauce and it turned out delicious! Jules even seemed to enjoy it as she typically doesn't like our homemade burgers (kyrie had a veggie burger for hers).

Now the drink turned out to be a failure! The colors associated with Hulk and She Hulk are green and purple! So I found a very noticeable purple drink on Pinterest. But when we made it, it turned out a maroon color instead. It consisted of vodka, blue curaçao, chambord, and cranberry juice. Seemed like it should have worked, but for us it definitely did not! Oh well! Maybe somebody else can try it and let me know! I also didn't even take a picture of the girls and their drink, but it was cranberry juice and our tired and true green Gatorade. It also didn't work, double failure for the bartender.

I have wanted to make some cookies for a theme for a while, so when doing some research on this theme, I came across Pistachio cookies! They turned out to be a hit and a green that worked well with this theme! They were so good that I probably should have hide them better from Tyler.

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and even the SheHulk series! Again this household enjoyed both even if my drink didn't get the bright purple color that I envisioned! See you next time!
