We haven't watched much in the DC Universe, but on a recent road trip we watched Shazam. So we thought when Black Adam came out, we would watch this one and do a theme on it. We thought the movie was ok, but the way they incorporated the music on top of speaking was very annoying. We got distracted and couldn't hear much of the movie.
The main dish for this was Black Adam's Chicken with fettuccine pasta. This meal is a regular in our house, so I know the girls would eat it. I blackened the chicken by using spices and then cooked it on the stove top. We always pair it with fettuccine Alfredo. Always turns out delicious!
We also stuck with the antihero's name again for the drink and had Black Adam Ice Tea. We found a premade black tea in the store and drank that. Again super easy and everyone in the house likes ice tea, so a win!
So in the movie Black Adams, for him to have his superpowers come is by saying the word Shazam! Each letter of the word stands for a god on which he gets his superpowers from. So for this dessert we had Shazam bars and Juliet helped me make them. They were no bake (which I love) and the flavor was cookies and cream which everyone loved!
Tell me what you thought of this themed dinner or even the movie Black Adam itself. It sounds like form the news they won't continue with the franchise, so no more Black Adams movie (well at least for now).
