Baby Boss 2

Summer always seems to be full of many new movies and Baby Boss 2 was one of them. We were shocked to see that there was a sequel to this movie as the first one was funny, but I didn’t think warranted a sequel. But yet we watched it and even better made a theme for it. The movie still turned out entertaining and everyone enjoyed it! The sequel takes place many years later where the boys have now grown up, but they have to come together and turn into babies again to defeat the bad guy in the movie. The girls actually prepared and had fun trying to dress up as Baby Bosses prior to the movie!

So when I was doing some research and searched the plot of the movie- I got that the Templtons turned into babies to defeat the evil bad guy from turning toddlers into monstrous brats! Well it was more the evil bad guy was trying to get rid of the parents, so that they can’t tell the kids what to do anymore. Nothing really about brats, I guess without parents kids could turn into brats, but not what I got from watching the movie. Anyways, so for the dinner, we went off the “brats” and decided on Baby Boss Brawts! It turned out easy and perfect- just grilled some brats along with onions and peppers. The girls like these cheddar filled ones, so they had those. We also added some pierogies and sweet potato fries to complete the meal.

To continue with the baby theme, we picked up some baby bottles from the $ store (which the girls will play with in their play kitchen after we use them) and served Baby Boss Formula in them! The girls loved this idea! We just made them simple vanilla milkshakes and had premade White Russians from Cut Water Spirits for the adults. Super easy and right for the theme!

We also incorporated baby into the dessert as well. I wanted to do something simple and when Tyler was sending me some ideas there was a “Doo-Doo diaper“ that was made out of oats and chocolate. We made something similar for our Groundhogs theme dinner and the girls weren’t too excited about that dessert, so we changed that out and made chocolate rice krispie treats. We wrapped them right into the napkins to create the diaper and it turned out as expected. Since the dessert was something the girls liked, like gobbled it up.

Overall the themed turned out good- we all thought at least. Again the girls had fun drinking out of baby bottles! Comment below and tell me what you thought of this themed dinner.
